The concept for this project was to redesign an existing artist’s album artwork. I chose to redesign a Hip-hop and R&B artist’s album named SZA. SZA has an old school and jazzy feel to her music so I looked to vintage records from the 70’s and 80’s for inspiration. I also wanted to reference the name of her album CTRL by using a 90’s keyboard to right out each name of the songs on her album.
